Sponteoai ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you use the ChillNote mobile application (the "App") and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect limited information to provide the core functionality of ChillNote.

A. Account Information

Sign-in Data: When you sign in using Apple or Google, we collect your unique user ID and email address (if provided) to authenticate you and sync your data across devices.

B. Notes and Text Content

Notes You Save: The notes you create are stored securely on our servers to enable synchronization between your devices.
Text You Intentionally Submit to AI: When you ask ChillNote to tidy, rewrite, summarize, translate, or otherwise process text with AI, the text you choose to submit may be sent for that request.

C. Audio Data

Voice Notes: We process audio data only when you actively record a voice note or choose to transcribe a pending recording.
Ephemeral Handling: Raw audio is processed transiently for the active request and is not retained on our servers after processing is complete.

D. Device and Local Diagnostic Data

Device Information: We may collect generic device information such as device model and operating system version to ensure app compatibility and reliability.
Local Usage Data: Limited diagnostic events, such as recording state changes, may be stored locally on your device for debugging. We do not automatically upload detailed behavioral tracking data to third-party advertising platforms.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Authenticate your identity and keep your account signed in.
Sync your saved notes across your devices.
Process AI features you intentionally request, including transcription, summarization, note improvement, translation, formatting, and related AI editing tasks.
Maintain app performance, security, and compatibility.

No Model Training: We and our third-party partners do not use your notes or recordings to train models.

3. AI Processing Disclosure

AI processing happens only when you intentionally use an AI feature in the app and grant permission in the app before data is sent for processing.

Voice transcription: May send raw audio and necessary technical parameters such as file type or language hints.
Text AI features: May send the note text, prompt text, or selected content you intentionally submit for AI processing.
Processing purpose: The data is used only to complete the specific AI request you made.

4. Third-Party Data Sharing & AI Processors

To provide AI functionality, ChillNote may send data to ChillNote's secure server, which then forwards only the data needed for the active request to our AI processor.

Recipient: Google Gemini via Google Cloud.
Data types: Audio, text prompts, and note text intentionally submitted to AI.
Purpose: Transcription, summarization, note improvement, translation, and other AI features requested by the user.
Training commitment: We and our third-party partners do not use the audio or text you submit through these AI features to train models.

5. Data Retention & Security

Ephemeral Audio Processing: Raw audio is processed in memory or transiently for the active request and is not retained on server disk after processing.
Local Temporary Storage: For crash recovery and pending transcription, audio recordings may be stored locally on your device and are deleted after successful processing or within 7 days.
Note Retention: Text notes remain stored until you delete them or your account.
Encryption: Data is encrypted using TLS/SSL (HTTPS).
